These lazy, wrinkly creatures would make even the most serious person in the world smile. They are very docile, friendly and despite their appearance, they are actually very courageous. Bulldogs are well known for getting along with children and other pets, so they won’t cause trouble in the house. They were named “retriever” because of their capacity to retrieve shot game undamaged. Their golden coat gives them a special look, maybe that’s why they are used in so many TV commercials.

This breed is classified as a toy dog and it is one of the most popular breeds in the United Kingdom, where it originates from. These dogs are highly affectionate, patient and eager to please. They love socializing with other dogs, no matter how big they are.
